UBM Partners With Indonesian Trade Show Producer to Launch Concrete Show

Hong Kong – UBM and Debindo, an Indonesian trade show producer with a portfolio of shows in the construction industry, are partnering to launch Concrete Show South East Asia, October 24-26, 2013 at the Jakarta International Expo in Indonesia. The event will expand UBM’s global concrete portfolio, which includes the Concrete Show South America, which runs August 29-31, 2012, and Concrete Show India, set for March 13-15, 2014.

Indonesia has experienced steady annual economic growth, and Goldman Sachs predicts that its economy will be the 7th largest in the world by 2050, according to UBM, a business media company operating in more than 30 countries. The new trade show plans to capitalize on growth in the Indonesian construction sector, which is predicted to reach nearly $80 billion.

Concrete Show South East Asia will be supported by numerous associations and government agencies, including the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industry, the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Indonesia Engineers Association, Indonesian Institute of Architects and the Indonesian Cement Association.
