TSE STAFF

Chicago, IL – Michael Bandy will step down as President and will leave the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) on March 31st, announced Sal Cavallaro, CME, Chairman of the Board of  TSEA. Bandy joined the association  in April 1987 as Director of Communications and was promoted to President in 1998. He plans to form an association management company with his wife Dee Dee Bandy. She joined TSEA in 1984 and is currently Finance and Administration Director for TSEA.

Bandy says he will remain with TSEA until March 31 to complete projects in progress including the educational program for the association’s TS2 show which is now owned by National Trade Productions. “It has been 20 good years with TSEA, but it was time to look for new opportunities,” Bandy told Trade Show Executive magazine.

Two months ago, Bandy was elected Chairman of the Convention Industry Council (CIC). His appointment marked the first time that an individual directly representing exhibitors was selected to lead the CIC.  For more details, go to www.tradeshowexecutive.com, “The Vault,” October 19.
