Reno, NV – Jeff Beckelman, President and CEO of the Reno Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, announced today that he has accepted the position of President and CEO for the Palm Springs Desert Resorts Convention and Visitors Authority. Beckelman had headed the RSCVA for the past three years. A board meeting will be held tomorrow and the decision to replace him will be made then.
Before joining the RSCVA, Beckelman was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. Prior to that, he was Executive Director of both the Tampa/Hillsborough Convention and Visitors Authority; the Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau ; and the President of the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Memphis.
