Dr. Corinna Basler has been appointed  president of Green Festivals, Inc., announced Roland Bleinroth, president and CEO of Messe Stuttgart Inc. Formerly, Dr. Basler was a strategic consultant to global sustainable organizations in Germany, Asia and the United States, including CMC, Mercedes Benz, Merrill Lynch, and Mercado Networks . . . Karen Totaro was named general manager of the Atlantic City Convention Center. She reports to Fran Radowicz, who oversees the center and Boardwalk Hall. Totaro was assistant GM at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati and the Oregon Convention Center in Portland . . . Bryan Scott was promoted to president  of Wyndham Jade’s Convention Division. He joined the housing, registration and technology firm when it acquired Taptopia, the event-software company he had founded . . . Bill Facella was named director of event services for Music City Center in Nashville. He was previously director of convention services for the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando . . . The Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau named Jon Hixon VP of sales. He relocated to Texas from Canada, where he was director of U.S. sales for Tourism Toronto . . . The Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau appointed three regional sales executives for meetings and conventions: Dana Pickle for the central U.S., Kara Bowman for the Mid-Atlantic states, and Victoria Diaz for the East Coast…
