TORONTO – Macgregor Communications, organizers of a series of conferences for information technology professionals, acquired The Canadian Telecom Summit.
Macgregor picked up the event from GST Conferences. Michael Stone and Mark Goldberg, who founded the Canadian Telecom Summit 18 years ago, will work with Macgregor on the next two editions of the show. The 2019 summit will take place June 3-5 at the Conference Centre at the Toronto International Centre.
Bob Macgregor, President & CEO of Macgregor Communications, said the Canadian Telecom Summit would be a good fit with his firm’s ITech Conference series as well as its annual Continuity & Resilience Today Conference in Toronto. “We are very excited to have such a prestigious event in our portfolio that we can successfully leverage,” he said.
The ITech Conference events feature modest space for tabletop exhibits while Canadian Telecom Summit does not feature an exhibit hall and revolves around a three-day agenda of speakers and educational sessions.
