Dallas, TX – Singapore’s Edward Liu, managing director of Conference & Exhibition Management Services Pte Ltd, is the 2015 recipient of the IAEE International Excellence Award presented by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).
The annual award recognizes an individual or organization that has made exceptional contributions to the international exhibitions industry. The award was presented to Liu at the May 21 IMEX Frankfurt awards dinner in Germany.
Liu was a member of the IAEE Board of Directors from 2002 to 2007 and was the longtime chair of the IAEE Asia Exhibitions Council from 2005 until last year.
Liu is currently an advisor to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the Macau Convention & Exhibition Association (MCEA), and other Asian organizations. He was Honorary President of the Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers.
Apart from being a frequent speaker at MICE conferences throughout the world, Liu is the principal instructor for the professional exhibition courses for SACEOS and IAEE in the Asia Pacific region.
