HIL ANDERSON, SENIOR EDITOR

Chicago – The 100 largest shows held in 2016 have been officially named and will be saluted September 27-29 at The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay outside San Francisco. The roster once again includes the marquee names of the industry as well as some potentially surprising events that have been climbing the ladder of success.

“The Gold 100 Class of 2017 represents another all-star collection of the biggest and best exhibitions of the previous year,” said TSE Publisher/Editor Gabrielle Weiss. “Everyone at TSE, along with our Gold 100 sponsors, are looking forward to welcoming the people behind these legendary shows to California this Fall.”

A list of Gold 100 honorees (in alphabetical order) can be found at www.tsegold100.com/honorees/. Perennial Gold 100 shows such as CES, MAGIC, World of Concrete and the International Manufacturing Technology Show will be prominently placed, and major associations and independent show organizers will also be well represented.

The largest shows will be eligible for the coveted Gold Grand Awards in categories based on their metrics. The Gold 100 Awards Gala on September 28 will also include Grand Awards presented for other categories saluting innovation and execution. “The Gold Grand Awards are a recognition of skills and hard work that an entire show team puts into an event,” said Diane Bjorklund, TSE Vice President of Events.

The Grand Award categories will be announced in the coming weeks on the TSE website and E-Clips Breaking News along with details on networking opportunities and the education agenda for the Gold 100 Summit.
