Needham, MA – GMD/FuelDog and ACT Inc./EXPOCAD have reached an agreement that will incorporate an optional floor plan integration module into the Javelin Event Management System. The partnership represents the shift occurring in the industry as vendors form strategic alliances to offer single-package solutions to customers, says GMD’s Tom Maher.
The interactive floor plan will expand the capabilities of a system that already integrates company data across departments. Customized for specific needs, the program offers features that include tools for sales, operations, conference management, marketing, finance, web systems and reporting. By centrally locating information, multiple data entry is eliminated.
The product is expected to be available later this fall.
