Global Spectrum SVP Tom Mobley Retiring June 30

Philadelphia, PA – Tom Mobley plans to retire June 30 as senior vice president of convention centers at Global Spectrum. Mobley held the position since 2006 and compiled a sterling record in the venue management field. He served as general manager of McCormick Place for 11 years and has also managed convention centers in Washington, DC; Denver; Baltimore; and Jacksonville. He was chairman of the Convention Industry Council (CIC) board of directors in 2005 and was inducted into CIC’s Hall of Leaders. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Association of Venue Managers in 2012.
