Atlanta, GA – Kevin Duvall was promoted to chief operating officer of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA), effective August 1.
He will replace Khalil Johnson, who is set to retire August 1 after 30 years with the Authority. Duvall will be responsible for operations at the Georgia World Congress Center, Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park.
Duvall has been the assistant general manager of the Georgia World Congress Center since 2006. Prior to that he was the assistant general manager at the Georgia Dome.
“Kevin has done a great job for the Authority during the last seven years,” said Dan Graveline, executive director for the GWCCA. “His overall knowledge and attention to detail is a perfect fit for the COO position.”
