Diane Stone Retires as COO of The WSA Show

HIL ANDERSON, SENIOR EDITOR

Encino, CA — Diane Stone retired as COO of The WSA Show. ENK International Trade Shows, which owns The WSA Show, declined comment and did not immediately name a replacement for Stone.

Stone joined the WSA in 2004 and took part in the conversion of the association event into a for-profit venture and later in the sale of the show to ENK.

The WSA Show is held twice per year in Las Vegas. The two shows both top one million net square feet (nsf) of exhibit space. The February edition of The WSA Show and The Collections at WSA were ranked No. 4 on Trade Show Executive’s Gold 100 roster of the largest trade shows at 1,100,250 nsf. The July edition of the same show was No. 5 at 1,099,000 nsf. The economy impacted the size of the February 2009 show, down to 705,708 nsf.
