CTIA Executive Dies of Heart Attack at Association’s Trade Show

Las Vegas, NV – Mark Desautels, a senior vice president with CTIA –The Wireless Association, died of an apparent heart attack March 30 while at the group’s trade show, CTIA WIRELESS 2009.

Desautels, 56, was vice president of wireless development for CTIA and was involved in the selection of speakers and the development of educational sessions for CTIA WIRELESS  and CTIA WIRELESS  IT & Entertainment. He also oversaw the activities of the Wireless Internet Caucus, a CTIA organization focused on the development of the wireless Internet market.
