Palm Beach Gardens, FL – LRP Conferences LLC, a division of LRP Publications, has acquired The National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (ErgoExpo) and a monthly webinar series on ergonomics from Continental Exhibitions Inc.  The Continental Exhibitions’ executive management team, including President Walter Charnizon and Vice President of Sales and Marketing Lenore Kolb Higgins, have joined LRP Conferences and will continue to manage the event.

ErgoExpofocuses on new ways to improve productivity and raise profitability by reducing workplace-related injuries. In 2011, the event attracted more than 1,000 human resources executives, designers, health care providers and professional ergonomists. The 18th annual ErgoExpo will be held December 4-7, 2012, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

LRP Conferences produces nearly a dozen professional conferences and trade shows, including the HR Technology Conference, HR in Hospitality Conference and National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference. Founded in 1977, LRP Publications publishes two magazines, Human Resource Executive and Risk & Insurance, as well as hundreds of newsletters, books, videos, eCourses, and case reports in the fields of workers’ compensation and disability, human resources, education administration and law, and federal employment law.

“The National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition was a natural fit with our other conferences and provides an excellent growth opportunity for the company,” said Kenneth Kahn, president and founder, LRP Publications.

“I am excited about the opportunity to be part of the LRP team,” said Charnizon. “Their organization and its resources will help ErgoExpo reach into new markets and better serve those it currently supports.”
