New York, NY –  Gerald McQueen, president & CEO of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York, today announced a reorganization of the senior management team,  following  the retirement of Miles McGrane, former senior vp & general manager. Tony Bracco was promoted to general manager after 15 years at the Javits Center, most recently as assistant general manager.  Doreen Guerin is the new Vice President of Sales & Marketing, having served as sales manager in 2006. She also is an accomplished show manager, having doubled the size of the International Toy Fair in the ‘90s, and  has directed major shows for Advanstar and VNU.  Jack Wayman is the new assistant vp for environmental & customer services, responsible for customer service, exhibitor and event services, and the cleaning department. Wayman had been director of cleaning at Javits,  and formerly was a consultant for contractors and associations.

McQueen said the restructuring was undertaken not only to replace McGrane but also to increase customer service in numerous areas during  what he expects to be a bright year for the Javits Center.
