Association for PRINT Technologies (APTech) and the Tarsus Group have announced a partnership to launch Brand Print Americas. The show will be co-located at Tarsus’ Labelexpo Americas, Sept.15-17, 2020, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, Ill.
Brand Print Americas will take place in lieu of the 2020 edition of PRINT, ApTech’s signature annual conference and exhibition. The new show aims to capitalize on APTech’s leadership in the commercial print industry and Tarsus’ global presence in the labels and package-printing space.
“Through our collaboration with APTech, we will enable printers, converters, and brand owners to find all the latest print solutions, view interactive personalized demonstrations, and boost their learning through an extensive educational program,”  Lisa Milburn, managing director for the Labelexpo and Brand Print Global Series of trade shows, told Trade Show Executive. “The combination of these events will give visiting companies the full picture and will future-proof their plans and strategies so they can stay ahead in this very competitive market.”
Thayer Long, president of APTech, offered this perspective in a statement: “This is a strategic response to the market as printers look to diversify their offerings and as manufacturers seek to maximize their marketing dollars by bringing audiences together under one roof. We are taking a collaborative approach to bring together two well-known brands, two unique audiences, and multiple market segments.”
Labelexpo Americas is the largest event of its kind in North America, attracting tens of thousands of attendees, while APTech’s PRINT 2018 drew more than 17,000 attendees. “We expect the combined show to significantly eclipse past attendance at Labelexpo Americas,” Milburn said. “With that in mind, this collaboration with APTech is part of a long-term journey driven by the tremendous growth in the dynamic printing, packaging and labels industry.”
Brand Print is a new series of global trade shows owned and managed by Tarsus Group, an international media company with a portfolio of exhibitions, conferences, and media properties. The first Brand Print event will be Brand Print Thailand 2020, scheduled for next May in Bangkok. The show will be co-located with Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2020.
