Atlanta, GA – Scott Stallings joined CW Allen Group as chief operating officer and two top executives of Shepard Exposition Services joined the board of directors in November.
Shepard President Carl Mitchell and Sherman Wade, co-president of Shepard from 1982 to 2002, joined the board and tightened the ties between the two companies. “This strategic alliance will help our clients attain their ROI objectives from participation in their trade shows,” said Charles Allen, CEO of CW Allen Group. “It will also benefit the trade shows, which will win back those exhibitors’ participation in the following years.”
Wade is co-founder of Shade Communications, an Atlanta-area marketing firm that works with clients in the exhibition industry, as does CW Allen. Allen said the association with Shepard and Shade gives CW Allen Group a comprehensive solution for event organizers and exhibitors. “With the support of Shade for their marketing initiatives and Shepard for their significant trade show presence, clients will be more readily able to maximize benefits from CW Allen’s Exhibiting ROI-Q Academy exhibitor education/training program and other event marketing solutions,” said Allen.
Stallings was most recently director of exhibit sales for Freeman’s office in Las Vegas. He was previously vice president of operations for VNU Expositions (now Nielsen Business Media).
