Dana Point, CA – The International CES was named the “Largest Trade Show” of 2013, and the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) was honored as “The Greatest Show on Earth” at the Trade Show Executive Gold 100 Awards & Summit at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, CA. The Gold 100 annually salutes the largest and most-accomplished trade shows of year, and this year’s event October 22-24 drew a large crowd of show organizers for the celebration and a full schedule of educational sessions and networking opportunities.

Dana Point, CA – The trade show industry gave a standing ovation to its standouts this month at the annual Trade Show Executive Gold 100 Awards & Summit. CEOs, vice presidents, exposition managers and organizers from industry associations and international for-profit companies gathered at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Southern California for two days of networking and discussion that culminated with the presentation of the TSE Gold Grand Awards for the top trade shows of 2012. “The Gold 100 is traditionally the time when the trade show industry looks back to the best events of the previous year and what lies ahead in the coming year,” said Darlene Gudea, president of TSE Media Group.



TSE Awards & Summit: The 2012 Gold Rush

Washington, DC – The preeminent trade show organizers in the U.S. were honored in Washington last month for the hard work and deft touches that made their exhibitions the biggest and best of 2011. Held October 3-5 at the Ritz-Carlton Washington, DC, the fifth annual Trade Show Executive (TSE) Gold 100 Awards & Summit saluted the 100 largest trade shows of the past year, and then singled out 14 events for their remarkable achievements in social media practices, green initiatives, global participation and economic impact. “Today’s leaders are working in a new economic and technological landscape,” said Darlene Gudea, president of TSE Media Group.

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA – Aspectacular sunny Southern California day was the backdrop for the Trade Show Executive Gold 100 Summit, where a top-notch roster of speakers shined some light of their own on the latest forecasts for the industry as well as burning issues that included social networking, branding, innovation, exclusives, discounting and experiential marketing. Each of the well-attended sessions were designed to run no longer than an hour. They combined for a fast-paced summit that covered a lot of ground and stirred up discussions on the many issues swirling around the trade show industry at a time when the pressures of economics and technological advances are being felt by all.

It featured three days of inspiration and  relaxation at the Ritz-Carlton Resort in Laguna Niguel, CA.
