When Vision Expo West comes to the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas Sept. 26-29, attendees are in for treat. During the latter three days (Sept. 27-29) of the four-day event, they’ll be able to get free five-minute makeovers and beauty advice at what’s being dubbed the GlamourEYES Pop Up Studio.

The collaborative effort of retailer Sephora and optometrist/social media influencer Dr. Arian Fartash — she’s on Instagram at @GlamOptometrist — the studio will be staffed by professional makeup artists who’ll pass along tips and tricks “to accentuate the eyes behind every frame.”

“We are excited to work with Sephora, a globally recognized brand, and Dr. Arian Fartash, an influencer who covers all things optical and fashion, to bring this exciting traveling activation throughout the Exhibit Hall,” Angela Harar, Senior Director of Trade Shows at The Vision Council, told Trade Show Executive. “Not only will attendees have the fun opportunity to refresh their own makeup while getting tips for glasses they can share with their customers, the Vision Expo team anticipates boosted social media impressions around this activation.”

Co-owned by Reed Exhibitions and The Vision Council, Vision Expo West attracts more than 30,000 eye care industry professionals annually.
