CHICAGO – The nomination period is open for the shows that will make up the next Trade Show Executive (TSE) Fastest 50 Class of 2018.

Show managers have until the end of the year to tell TSE about the events that produced robust percentage growth in exhibit space, number of exhibitors, and attendance. The top performers will make up the shows that will be officially saluted in June at the TSE Fastest 50 Awards & Summit in Atlantic City.

“The Fastest 50 is one of the most exciting industry events of the year because it shines a well-deserved spotlight on trade shows of all sizes that were at the front of the pack in terms of growth,” said TSE Publisher and Editor Gabrielle Weiss. “The honorees include shows that have been household names for years as well as up-and-coming niche events that were launched only recently.”

The payoff comes on the beautiful Jersey Shore June 18-20 at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, the site of the 2019 Fastest 50 Awards & Summit. A full agenda of networking, socializing, educational sessions and the gala Grand Awards presentation is being finalized by TSE. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for updates and registration details.

The nomination form for the Fastest 50 is on the TSE website, at: https://www.tsefastest50.com/fastest-50-entry-form. Once completed, it must be electronically returned no later than Dec. 31, 2018. Please note that the official Fastest 50 entry form must be completed. Submitting post-show metrics for the TSE Dashboard in lieu of an application will not qualify an event for Fastest 50 consideration.

The Fastest 50 is not restricted to annual shows. Biennial shows that have taken place in 2018 will be evaluated on percentage of growth since the last show edition (2016). Triennial shows that have also been held in 2018 will be compared to the 2015 edition.

“To qualify for the Fastest 50, shows only need to have had a minimum of 15,000 net square feet of of paid exhibit space for both years being compared,” said TSE Manager of Directories Carri Jensen. “The shows come from a wide range of industry sectors, which makes the Fastest 50 one of the most interesting events of the year.”
