CHICAGO – Trade Show Executive’s (TSE) annual Gold 100 list has been released.

The latest Gold 100 honoree list features the 100 largest trade shows, in terms of exhibit space, held in 2017. These masters of innovation, marketing and operations will be honored Oct. 10-12 at the Monarch Beach Resort in Orange County, just down the coast from Los Angeles.

“The Gold 100 is one of the true high points of the year for the trade show industry, and we are looking forward to celebrating this elite, award-winning crowd,” said TSE Publisher/Editor Gabrielle Weiss. “Everyone at Trade Show Executive, along with our Gold 100 sponsors, is looking forward to welcoming the people who led these amazing shows. It is also a pleasure to provide a platform where we can learn from each other and relevant subject matter experts — especially in beautiful Southern California.”

The alphabetical list of shows can be found on the event website,, which also includes registration information and will be the place to visit for updates and details on what will be an exciting program of education, social and networking activities. The highlight of the week, of course, will be the Gold 100 Grand Awards Gala and the presentation of the awards for the largest and most innovative shows of the year.

Now is not the time for modesty. Show organizers are encouraged to nominate their own events as well as other admirable expos for any one of the Grand Awards that will be presented on stage Oct. 11. The nomination form is available at and must be completed and turned in by Aug. 24.

“The Gold 100 Class of 2018 features a glittering collection of the major exhibitions held last year,” said TSE Vice President of Events Diane Bjorklund. “Monarch Beach is a true gem and a wonderful opportunity to mix business with pleasure in a location that is perfect for both.”

Monarch Beach is perched on a seaside cliff just minutes from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport. The resort’s amenities are as fantastic as the unforgettable views of the Pacific Ocean, and the adjacent golf course will provide one of those bucket list rounds  you will never forget. The nearby beach town of Dana Point offers an enjoyable opportunity to explore great restaurants and shops.

Registration for the Gold 100 Awards & Summit is limited, so act soon to reserve your room at a special rate, along with your place at the banquet table for this can’t-miss event.
